![]() ![]() Also surviving are her in-laws Jackie (Marie) Stubbert, Harris (Debbie) Stubbert, Joan (Keith) Boutilier, Bryce (Lynn) Stubbert, Brent (Marlene) Stubbert and Ann Morris many nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart. Left to mourn her forever are sons Blowers (Mildred), Millville, John (Karen), Kingston daughters Kelly Stubbert (Dave Matthews), Keene, ON, Debbie Stubbert (Ward Brooks), North Sydney, Lorie McGean (Barry MacIntyre), North Sydney, Alexis MacDonald (Shaun LeBlanc), Bras d’Or sisters Viola (Wayne) Pickrem, Cora Stacey, Diane Foster, Tina Johnson, Sheila (Dan) Sutherland, brother Frankie (Anna) Martin, also left to mourn are her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was one of the driving forces in the construction of the present Millville Community Centre and was very proud of this accomplishment. ![]() She was a forty-year member of the Florence Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Millville Community Center, Millville Ladies Auxiliary and Ladies Catering Services in excess of twenty-five years. Mom was a person who cared deeply about her community. She was the “glue that held us together” and sometimes frustrated us all. Mom was a longtime resident of Millville. With her loving family by her side, Mom left this world, Tuesday Novemat the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.īorn in Red Islands, Richmond County, September 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mamie (Carroll) MacNeil.
